Build Custom Tools Using AI for Better Marketing and Revenue Decisions.

Special Fall 2026 Pricing: Regularly $1000 is now 50% off—$500. Enroll here.

Which customers keep coming back? Which might need a reason to return? Which products are often bought together? Does higher marketing spend tend to go with more inquiries? Where are opportunities to generate more revenue?

If you’re asking these questions, you may already have data that could help answer them, but your regular reports don’t always give you what you need. Creating your own reporting tool to answer them can seem like a job for a programmer or data specialist.

This course shows you how to use AI to build practical analytical tools to answer your own marketing questions—without needing programming experience.

You’ll start by explaining what you want to know. From there, you’ll learn how AI can help you figure out how to answer the question, identify the data you need, and create a tool you can reuse. You don’t need to arrive knowing which analytical technique to ask for.

Across two live modules, you’ll explore useful ways to understand customers and marketing performance. You’ll then see a step-by-step demonstration of two tools: one for scoring and grouping customers, and another for exploring factors linked to marketing results and asking “what if?” questions.

You’ll learn how to check the answers, understand their limits, and use them to support decisions about targeting, spending, and revenue. Examples will cover both B2B and B2C marketing, showing how to adapt the process to your own work.

No programming or advanced analytics experience is required. Basic familiarity with spreadsheets and marketing metrics will help.

  • A clear process for turning a marketing question into a working reporting tool with AI.
  • Simple explanations of useful analytical techniques and when to use them.
  • Two step-by-step demonstrations, from the initial idea to publishing a tool online.
  • An understanding of what data you need and how to get it ready.
  • Practical ways to check your tools and make sense of their results.
  • Ideas for adapting customer scoring and performance analysis to your own business.
  • A way to create reusable tools that support better marketing and revenue decisions.

Flexibility to Fit Your Schedule:

Can’t make it to the live session? No problem. We’ll send the workshop video, workbooks, and supplementary materials shortly after recording so you can catch up, revisit, or reinforce your learning.

Module 1: Understanding Customers and Finding Marketing Opportunities.

Learn how customer data can help you decide who to target and how.

Which customers keep coming back? Which might need a reason to return? Which products are often bought together?

This module introduces practical ways to answer these questions. You’ll learn how to group and score customers, spot buying patterns, and use what you find to plan more relevant marketing.

You’ll then see how to build a customer scoring tool with AI. The example uses RFM—a way of grouping customers based on how recently they bought, how often they buy, and how much they spend. We’ll walk through the whole process, from describing what you need — to checking the results and making the tool available online.

You’ll also see how the same principles could be adapted to your own business, including scoring B2B accounts using information such as their interests, activity and potential value.

  • How to turn a marketing question into a clear brief for AI.
  • Practical ways to group customers and identify marketing opportunities.
  • What RFM and market basket analysis do, with simple examples.
  • What information you need and how to get it ready.
  • How to guide AI through building and improving a customer scoring tool.
  • How to check whether the scores and groups make sense.
  • How to use the results to help plan targeting, retention and reactivation.
  • How to publish the tool online and adapt it to other questions.

Module 2: Explaining Performance and Exploring What Comes Next.

Learn how to investigate results and explore possible outcomes.

Are newer customers coming back as often as earlier ones? Does higher marketing spend tend to go with more inquiries? How might sales change under different conditions?

This module introduces ways to explore these questions using your data. You’ll learn about cohort analysis, which compares groups over time, and regression, which helps you investigate how different factors relate to results.

You’ll then follow a second AI-assisted build: a tool for exploring marketing performance and asking “what if?” questions. You’ll see how to choose the information to include, understand the output, and check whether the results are useful.

Examples will cover both B2B and B2C marketing. Throughout, we’ll explain what the analysis can tell you, what it can’t, and how to use it to support a decision.

  • How to compare customer or lead groups fairly over time.
  • What regression does and when it could help you.
  • How to use AI to explore your question and identify the data needed.
  • How to build a tool that helps you investigate marketing results.
  • How to explore “what if?” questions by changing inputs.
  • How to check predictions and recognize when they may be unreliable.
  • Why two things moving together doesn’t necessarily mean one caused the other.
  • How the findings can support decisions about marketing activity, spending and revenue.
  • How to publish the tool and apply the process to your own business.

Demonstrations use prepared example data. You don’t need to bring company data or build alongside the presenter. To apply the process afterward, you’ll need suitable data and access ChatGPT,Claude, Gemini or Copilot.

This course is for marketers who want to use AI and data to answer practical questions, including:

  • B2B and B2C marketing managers and digital marketers.
  • Marketers responsible for generating leads, keeping customers, or developing accounts.
  • Agency professionals who want to create useful tools for their clients.
  • Marketing teams looking to spend less time repeating the same analysis.
  • Business owners who want to make better use of their customer and marketing data.
  • Get from questions to useful answers sooner. Learn how to create tools for questions your standard reports don’t answer.
  • Focus marketing effort more effectively. Use customer information to help decide whom to target and what action to take.
  • Support spending and revenue decisions. Explore performance and possible outcomes, with a clearer understanding of the evidence behind your recommendations.
  • Build tools you can use again. Repeat an analysis with new data and adapt your tools as business needs change.
  • Use AI with better judgment. Learn to check its work and recognize when an answer needs further investigation.

Two live, two-hour sessions combining clear explanations, slides, step-by-step demonstrations and Q&A.

Each module introduces useful analytical ideas and shows one tool being built, checked and published online. You’ll see both how the tool works and how its results could help with a marketing decision.

Absolutely an amazing webinar. This will empower my team to begin creating better dashboards.

This is exactly what I needed. Awesome live demos and I can actually leave this class and go build a report.

Very informative workshop, with ability to play back and follow along with the handouts.

I found the webinar very informative and like having the ability to ask questions live with the presenter.

Enjoyed this workshop. Instructor presentation was helpful and I look forward to applying some of the learnings to my current reports.
