Script it. Generate it. Ship it. Prove it.

AI makes short-form video ads faster and cheaper to produce. But that doesn’t mean they’ll perform.

Anyone can generate a 15-second video clip. The problem? Most get scrolled past before the sound even comes on. And those that survive often look like every other AI-generated ad in the feed: glossy, generic, and completely forgettable.

The challenge is no longer simply producing video. It’s knowing what to create, which hooks will stop the scroll, how to keep your product and brand looking consistent, and how to tell whether your ad is actually working.

In this hands-on, two-module bootcamp, you’ll learn to create and optimize short-form video advertisements using AI, from the first creative brief to the final performance test.

You’ll take one product or service from a one-page brief to a finished 15- to 30-second video ad, a set of creative variations, and a practical two-week test plan. You’ll learn how to create ads for TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and Meta placements — without needing a production crew, studio, or advanced editing skills.

You’ll also learn when to use dedicated AI video generators, when to use the platforms’ own AI creative tools, and how to make the decisions that separate effective advertising from more AI-generated noise.

AI handles the volume. You make the calls. The data settles the argument.

Learn How To:

  • Create scroll-stopping hooks designed to capture attention in the first three seconds.
  • Write compelling 15- and 30-second video ad scripts using a practical five-beat framework.
  • Choose the right AI video generation tools for your creative goals and budget.
  • Generate UGC-style, product demonstration, and B-roll footage without a crew or studio.
  • Make AI-generated footage look more authentic, consistent, and true to your brand.
  • Edit video ads for sound-off viewing, including pacing, captions, first-frame text, and platform-specific formats.
  • Turn one master video into multiple creative variations for TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts and Meta.
  • Understand when to use Meta Advantage+ or TikTok Symphony to adapt your creative assets.
  • Measure hook rate, hold rate, click-through rate, and cost per result to decide which ads to scale, improve, or stop.
  • Follow applicable AI disclosure, endorsement, and advertising guidelines to protect your brand.

Why Attend?

You’ll learn a complete, repeatable workflow for creating short-form video ads that your marketing team can use again and again.
More importantly, you’ll learn how to judge your creative work by performance, not personal preference.

By the end of the bootcamp, you’ll have a finished video ad, multiple creative variations, and a testing plan designed to help you discover what actually works.

Flexibility to Fit Your Schedule

Can’t attend a live session? No problem. You’ll receive the workshop recording and presentation materials so you can catch up, revisit the exercises, and reinforce your learning.

Module 1: Brief, Hook, Script, Generate.

From a one-page brief to usable AI-generated video ads in two hours.

Most AI video ads fail before anyone even opens a video generator. Module 1 shows you how to avoid that mistake.

You’ll begin by turning your product, audience, and marketing goals into a one-page STOP Brief: Someone, Tension, One Promise, and Proof.

Next, you’ll run a Hook Sprint, using six proven hook patterns designed for TikTok, Reels, Shorts and Meta placements. You’ll turn your strongest hook into a 15- or 30-second Five-Beat Script: Hook, Friction, Flip, Proof, and Ask.

You’ll also develop a clear shot list that an AI video generator can follow, beat by beat.

Then you’ll create a Product Lock Sheet to keep your product, presenter, colors, and lighting consistent across AI-generated clips. You’ll learn five practical techniques for removing the telltale “AI look” that can make generated footage feel artificial or unconvincing.

Hands-On in the Session

  • Write your STOP Brief for a product or service you know, or use our example demonstration brand.
  • Run the Hook Sprint: generate twelve hooks, then select the three strongest.
  • Create a 15-second Five-Beat Script with a corresponding shot list.
  • Generate one or two video clips using an accessible AI video tool, or work with the ready-made example set the instructor will provide.
  • Create a focused video ad brief that makes the creative direction clear from the start.
  • Develop attention-grabbing visual hooks and select the strongest ideas before spending production credits.
  • Write 15- and 30-second scripts that AI video generators can translate into footage.
  • Choose and prompt AI video tools to create footage that looks like your product and brand.
  • Recognize and correct common problems that make AI-generated video look artificial.

Module 2: Edit, Ship, Test, Repeat.

From raw video clips to a finished advertisement and a two-week creative testing plan.

Now it’s time to turn your footage into an advertisement that’s ready to run.

You’ll start with a Sound-Off Edit, learning how to control pacing, add captions, create compelling first-frame text and use voiceovers and music appropriately. You’ll also prepare your video for common placements using 9:16, 4:5 and 1:1 formats.

Next, you’ll learn how to adapt your creative work for different platforms without starting from scratch.

You’ll explore what Meta Advantage+ and TikTok Symphony can do for your video assets, and when it makes sense to create your master video externally before letting the advertising platforms generate additional variations.

You’ll then turn one master advertisement into three hook variations, two formats, and six ready-to-test creative assets. But creating more ads is only half the challenge. You also need to know which ones deserve your advertising budget. That’s where the Four-Number Scorecard comes in. Using hook rate, hold rate, click-through rate, and cost per result, you’ll learn to give each ad a practical verdict: Scale, Fix, or Kill. You’ll learn to diagnose whether an advertisement is losing viewers in the first three seconds or failing to persuade them afterward.

Finally, you’ll design a 14-Day Test Plan that isolates one creative variable at a time, establishes minimum evidence requirements, and defines when to stop spending on an underperforming ad. You’ll also review important advertising guardrails, including FTC endorsement requirements, AI-related disclosures, and responsible use of generated content.

Hands-On in the Session

  • Assemble your rough cut in CapCut or Canva using a hook clip, demonstration footage, captions, and an end card with a clear call to action. An example set will be provided for anyone without their own footage.
  • Use Gemini, ChatGPT, or another leading AI assistant to rewrite your hook three different ways while keeping the main ad unchanged.
  • Build a Variant Map showing the creative combinations you’ll test.
  • Write your 14-Day Test Plan, including your success criteria and the point at which you’ll stop an underperforming test.
  • Finish a short-form video advertisement that communicates effectively even when viewed without sound.
  • Turn one master video into six platform-ready creative variations.
  • Build a practical two-week testing plan that identifies which creative elements drive results.
  • Use performance metrics to make faster, more confident creative decisions.
  • Produce AI-assisted advertising that respects applicable disclosure requirements and protects your brand.
  • Bring a one-page brand and audience description of a product or service you care about. If you don’t have one in mind, an example fictional demo brand will be provided.
  • Access to a video editor such as CapCut for your smartphone/tablet (a free editing app), or you can use Canva if you already have a license.
  • Access to ChatGPT, Gemini, or Copilot
  • Access to an AI video generator such as Higgsfield or Kling is helpful but not essential.

Short-form video creative can wear out quickly. Successful brands often develop, test, and refresh their ads efficiently without sacrificing quality.

Here’s how this bootcamp can benefit your organization:

  • Bring back usable assets. Return with a finished video advertisement, six creative variations, and a practical testing plan, not just workshop notes.
  • Build a repeatable production process. Give your team a workflow for developing and refreshing video creative without relying on lengthy production cycles.
  • Reduce production costs. Use AI to create and edit video footage, filtering out weak ideas before you spend generation credits or advertising dollars.
  • Make decisions based on evidence. Replace subjective debates about which advertisement looks best with a straightforward performance scorecard.
  • Test and improve faster. Learn how to identify weak hooks, improve creative execution, and stop investing in ads that aren’t delivering results.
  • Protect your brand. Incorporate consistency, disclosure, and content-rights checks into the creative process.

For organizations that regularly need fresh video advertisements, the skills learned in this bootcamp could reduce reliance on outsourced production and help teams produce more creative variations with existing resources.

  • Live, practical workshops with opportunities to ask questions.
  • Step-by-step demonstrations and hands-on exercises.
  • Worked examples, live AI video generation, and before-and-after creative edits.
  • Recorded video of each module, including slides and audio.
  • PDF of the complete presentation.

This bootcamp is designed for marketers who need to create a steady supply of effective, on-brand short-form video advertisements without a large production budget or lengthy turnaround times.

It’s relevant to both B2B and B2C marketers, including:

  • Digital marketers responsible for creating campaign assets.
  • Social media managers who need to produce video advertisements.
  • Performance and paid social marketers looking to test more creative variations.
  • Content creators and freelancers producing video for clients.
  • Agency account and creative teams.
  • Small-business owners and marketing leads working with limited production resources.
  • Anyone who’s been asked to “just make a few videos with AI” and wants to make sure those videos actually perform.

No previous video-editing experience is required.
